Ultra-fine grinders work according to the non-contact rotor-stator principle, which is similar to a scissor cut. The cutting ring determines the gap size, which can be set between 0.05 mm and 3.0 mm (maximum 11.0 mm) as required. The cutting head rotates within this ring at a speed of 3000 revolutions per minute.
