DIN 9809 defines dimension, material and design. Coded distance rings and supporting stars must be used in food processing machines without run-out protection. Depending on the application, the distance rings are inserted into the housing head in different widths to compensate for the length of the cutting set widths. supporting stars are used to support the blade pivot and prevent the end plate from bending.
